The Garmin 400C Fish Finder with Dual Beam Transducer will help you catch all the fish your boat can contain. This Garmin gps Fishfinder will help you locate fish in all types of weather and will make fishing a more pleasurable and fun experience.

One thing I like about this Garmin Fishfinder is that it comes with a crisp, ultra-bright, 4-inch, full color QVGA display. Compared to the Garmin 300c Fishfinder which has a 3.5 inch display, the larger display is a welcome feature.

Update: This Fishfinder is currently on sale on sale via this link on Amazon

Something else I’m excited about is the fact that the 400C was made to be used in both freshwater and saltwater conditions.  Let’s not forget the fact that you have a choice of dual-beam or dual frequency transducers.

Quite a few people have bought this Fishfinder and it seems the overwhelming conclusion is that it’s being a dependable assistant in catching fish. Below are a few testimonials from customers who have bought the Garmin Fishfinder

Robert T.,

I purchased this last year, and it has been installed on a pontoon boat for a full season. This unit replaced an older finder that was already installed when I bought the boat. Installation was relatively easy with the boat on its trailer. Because we operate on a lake that has many shallow areas, the depth and contour indication is very valuable. Color display inhances the information being presented. The unit also measures water temp and displays underwater objects (fish?) accurately.

Pat C.,

The Garmin 400C had the features and power I needed for Great lakes salmon trolling on a 17 foot fishing boat, without all the BS that a guy will never use. So far it has worked great. It marks fish and rigger balls, it is much easier to operate than the Lowrance ever was. The Garmin 400C has nice control pad features and is about 2/3 the price of the Lowrance. I wish I had bought the Garmin 400C first.
